Established in 2007, Saipem Taqa Al-Rushaid Fabricators Company Ltd (STAR) is a Limited Liability partnership between Taqa Al-Rushaid for Marine Works co. Ltd.

which owns 60%, and Saipem international BV which owns 40%. The objective of the company is to fabricate offshore structures and components at King Abdul Aziz Port in Dammam.

This major initiative of fabricating platforms for the offshore oil and gas fields is the first of its kind in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
